Why don't people who down-voted on a question revisit that question if it has been edited to make it better for up-votes?
In my case, it is because of the lack of notification. I am reasonably active on 6 sites and present on a few more. I have no way of knowing if one of the posts I have downvoted has since been edited. ...

Thanks for posting about this topic. I think it is a real problem that meta participation has declined, because if a smaller proportion of site users participate in meta, the site becomes less ...

Why did this question get so many downvotes?

Only close if there is a good reason. Don't just close bad questions - that's what downvoting is for

Why did this question get so many downvotes?
Good questions are based on research on the subject of the question. Once that is done, you have at least a clear assumption on the options you have, and you can ask specific question(s) to achieve ...

Why don't people who down-voted on a question revisit that question if it has been edited to make it better for up-votes?
I think it is no more than useful and decent to keep an eye on posts you downvoted. As far as I know, I always do (although "accidents" may happen). I also noticed many other users withdraw their ...

As far as specific questions to be ...
