_ In regards to Linux use. I'm pretty much only a user of Ubuntu and its derivatives (Xubuntu, Lubuntu, Gnome 3.x Varieties, and Elementary OS are my favorites) I'm not at all an advanced user and am only on my first few chapters of a beginners programming book (that went back to library, might buy it later when time and funds allow). So most answers I give won't be particularly technical unless I'm able to find tutorials or other kinds of information when searching for the answer.

_ I like to think of my self as a mix of average user in always wanting my software to be aesthetically pleasing, but more power user in how i tend to "stress" a system. A programmer's and developer's worst case scenario I think. :-)
