Re #5: Stylish and simple aren't mutually exclusive. AskUbuntu is stylish, but it's also clean and simple. I find it much easier to look at and find the information I need than messier sites like the default StackOverflow.
@koushik: Canonical/Ubuntu did not develop Stack Exchange. The choice of technology is up to the Stack Exchange developers, who have no relationship to Ubuntu. And personally, I think they've done a great job!
