I raised a bounty on this question because I face the same problem.
Now I have got a mail from SO that I must award the bounty within 24 hours.
But there are no answers, so how can I award the bounty? I am confused :-)

How is a bounty awarded?
The bounty period lasts 7 days. Bounties must have a minimum duration of at least 1 day. After the bounty ends, there is a grace period of 24 hours to manually award the bounty. Simply click the bounty award icon next to each answer to permanently award your bounty to the answerer. (You cannot award a bounty to your own answer.)
If you do not award your bounty within 7 days (plus the grace period), the highest voted answer created after the bounty started with a minimum score of 2 will be awarded half the bounty amount (or the full amount, if the answer is also accepted). If two or more eligible answers have the same score (their scores are tied), the oldest answer is chosen. If there's no answer meeting those criteria, no bounty is awarded to anyone.

1Thanks. I just wonder why the email said 'Your bounty on question "Remmina does't work correctly" is completed. You must award it to an answer within 24 hours.' That is somewhat confusing. It could have added "...if there are any answers".– marlarCommented Oct 9, 2022 at 9:00

The point is to remind you that your chance to award the bounty is expiring. I personally don't find it very confusing. The bounty system is designed to encourage and reward answers. If there are no answers, naturally there can be no bounty awarded.– NmathCommented Oct 9, 2022 at 9:12
You can't award a bounty in this case.
