Jun 4, 2015 at 10:06 comment added Marco Ceppi Mod I've included information on appeals in my original post.
Jun 4, 2015 at 7:02 comment added Daniel Clem How may I go about appealing this to a higher admin? Policy or not, I can not let this go just like that.
Jun 4, 2015 at 6:57 comment added Daniel Clem Therefore it is no longer a "community". And has fallen far from the ideals of what Ubuntu was suppose to be striving for.
Jun 4, 2015 at 6:51 comment added Daniel Clem And is one more reason why I don't like coming here anymore. Its treated like every post and comment is going into a text book, and the authors and contributors have no true value as people outside of the facts they contribute. No one generally goes to anyone's profile unless the moderators go to look into the activity of a particular user. Especially not when all "Personality" has been stripped from general post and comments.
Jun 3, 2015 at 16:16 comment added Marco Ceppi Mod @DanielClem No. You're still not getting the point. No one is permitted to add any signatures to their post. This includes you. As a result, regardless of the text, this site has an issue with what you're adding. Personality is reserved for your profile page, please fill that out as you see fit.
Jun 3, 2015 at 6:12 comment added Daniel Clem @Marco Ceppi, Thank you very much for reopening my question. I did add more info to try and make it more descriptive. But please do not remove "God Bless". It is 2 words that the majority of people don't have a problem with. The question is asked by a person, not a Robot or from a text book. This is not a "Forum" but that does not mean that all personality should be stripped from the posts. Please re-add it Marco?
Jun 2, 2015 at 21:20 comment added Oli Mod @DanielClem What you account as "discrimination" should be carried out equally against all users, regardless of their content or the belief that spawned them. You aren't being discriminated against, you're just doing something we don't permit. Use your profile page for stuff that isn't directly relevant to the post.
Jun 2, 2015 at 19:43 comment added Marco Ceppi Mod @DanielClem Please seem my update to the answer which addresses these concerns.

Addressed questions of Daniel from comments
Jun 2, 2015 at 18:16 comment added Daniel Clem also Marco, The question I was specifically referring to was worded well and was conversing with a couple individuals on answers, and if I thought they would be helpful, I would include screen shots of me trying those answers and if they worked or didn't work. But the continual editing out of those 2 words "God Bless" kept getting in the way, and shortly after was flagged as "Off-Topic" or "Unclear" when it was obvious what the real reason for flagging it was, as the one who flagged it, was the same one who was constantly editing out those 2 words for HIS own reasons and beliefs.
Jun 2, 2015 at 18:00 comment added Daniel Clem it is a 5 word phrase in appreciation for any help others can provide, that is not noise. I guarantee if I was only putting "Thank you" this would not be any issue. Therefore this is classified stifling of beliefs. Pushing these beliefs to an "out-of-sight out-of-mind" area. So yes this is discrimination.
May 8, 2015 at 4:20 comment added kos This is a great answer, because it conveys what everyone is thinking in the most respectful, missundersting-free way it could have. Nonetheless, it covers every aspect of the topic. +1000
May 8, 2015 at 0:21 comment added Luis Alvarado Mod An excellent answer that covers the needed information to enjoy the site and the community norms we use.

May 7, 2015 at 20:00 comment added Nathan Osman I echo Marco's sentiments exactly - this isn't about stifling free speech at all. We simply don't permit any form of signature at the end of posts (or at the beginning either for that matter). We really appreciate your gratitude but your profile would be a better place to express this.
