Do we want heavily-downvoted questions to appear on the Meta AU homepage?
Thanks for this! I am aware that there is a huge amount going on in CM land so I am grateful this small thing could still be done...

Why did a moderator decline a bunch of flags on link only answers?
I dealt with some of your flags and indeed most of these answers, link only, would have been corrected in modern times. Most of the flags that I saw from you were flags on posts from 2011 and thereabouts and in some cases they were accepted answers or highly voted. Difficult in these cases to remove the answer and impossible to get the authors to improve their posts from more than a decade ago.

What are the consequences of giving honest feedback?
Perhaps this question and answer extend what you are trying to say: meta.askubuntu.com/q/12113/57576 Btw your comments about your volunteer work and banning do not really belong in your question...

Btw I can only see a single flag that you have generated: askubuntu.com/users/flag-summary/1809192 and this was actually dealt within 4 hours of the placement of the flag?

You are referring to this question: askubuntu.com/q/1529144/57576 ? I see a flag raised there 3 hours ago, moderation can often take a little longer than that. Looking at the stats I see that the average time to handle a flag is about 5 hours but this will of course vary according to local time zones of Mods.

I agree completely. We should avoid censorship on Meta and even the appearance of censorship.

@JourneymanGeek As you know the AU Meta is a little more sedate than other Meta sites in SE so I suspect it would be unusual to see such a heavily down voted post. It cannot be ruled out completely though and I would therefore support this change in the interests of having complete transparency in the future.

how do i get points to answer a question properly that ppl have ruined!
I assume you are talking about Comments, which require some Rep points, rather than Answers which you can do now. I am closing this question as a Duplicate of one of many questions on this issue...

Well, I had a look at your case and I can confirm that there is nothing untoward in what has occurred in your case. Terdon's answer spells out the reasons and common practice on this site perfectly...
