What if you found the duplicate yourself after posting? Flagging it as such is much better than just deleting in a case like that, others may benefit from your question.

The usage guidance should contain links to the (major) single-tool tags, e.g. “There‘s also an ssh, a vnc and an rsync tag, please add these tags as well if they fit.”

What’s the goal of the graphics? Does it anything besides confirming what you say above it? (I must admit, I see not even that.) Does it add to your answer, enough to justify an animated (!) gif to take up half the space of your answer?

Isn’t your solution exactly what OP tried? Maybe go into detail what they did wrong. Also, is the (IMO slightly ranty) hint to the cpu-frequtils answer necessary? If anything it would be sufficient to state that one doesn’t need to install anything I’d say.
