@RegisteredUser I would re-iterate.. don't care about numbers.. The current close system is quite good as it is and their isn't any need to make changes just for the sake of making changes.. I haven't touched upon any of the ideas you have recommended as it is mostly sarcasm. If you are serious about any of them, make necessary edits (or create a new feature-request/discussion question) and I would share my views on them.

That's as bad as it could get. That's not an answer and not a good comment either (just imo). When one has already established the cause of the problem, I would prefer one to provide a solution instead of that unhelpful chattering if the question is to be kept open.

@Braiam I never opposed deletion... You were saying "don't mark as duplicate cause I want to delete them", and hence my remark about not mixing the two...

@Braiam I hope you remember the discussion once you had with EliahKagan (probably in chat) - where Eliah said that he prefers to close as duplicate if there are even slight indications that it is a duplicate (rather than closing it as unclear/other reasons).. I kind-of agree with his views and follow a similar approach while closing. Deleting the questions is another topic, I don't think mixing things would help the cause.

Reading it as (without internet as a tag) "In an ideal world, internet would indeed be useless. It does not really give much useful information..." looks like you is utterly wrong and inaccurate and you haven't yet figured out how to use internet itself :-)
