Questions with too little information
Most of the times they are either duplicates and I flag/vote as such. Or, if it is really unclear where one cannot reasonably expect an answer without further information I flag/vote as "unclear". When I vote as "unclear" I always try to leave a comment as to what is unclear about the question and what he/she should do when the OP shows atleast some amount of research effort. If I believe OP hasn't even googled for his problems I often close without even leaving a comment. We can expect some amount of research effort on OP's part even though we are Ask Ubuntu.

If questions/answers (before today) edited, than not showing active line
Comments don't count towards activity. For example see this question, there was a comment today on the question itself, but it says that last activity was a month ago.

Do we need the Adobe, Microsoft and Apple tags?
Yay!! Finally... I agree with @Braiam's tagging opinion :-)

How can we instruct new users to change their display names?
Assume most users want to be anonymous and don't want to change their names by their will and not because they don't know how to change it. Similarly, don't assume people don't know how to change their avatar picture, they don't change it because they like the present one or want to remain a little anonymous just like you haven't changed yours till now :)

User asks question but his profile is 'page not found'
"User deleted themselves". Wait, we can't delete our accounts on our own, we need to contact the SE Team for deletion of accounts. What am I missing? Or, did the user contact them soon after asking the question and the SE Team fulfilled the request extremely quickly? That would be a bit bizarre if happened!

Shouldn't this question about working around Ethernet problems be reopened?
Yup... It got reopened after I posted this meta question... Not sure why did you create this answer mentioning the time when it got reopened... I hope you are not mistaking that I posted this meta question after reopening :)

What do we do with (very) long answers, filled with off-topic story-telling?
No problem, just ping me whenever you come across such a post... Obviously edit it, I would look at the revision.. :-)

Any examples at hand? I generally find stories in questions, very rarely in case of answers..

Lets get rid of the localhost tag
@Braiam The main argument in your question was "nobody answered any of those questions and nobody seems to continuously use the tag", hence my answer was targeted to make you aware that there is already a system in place to take care of not-so-popular tags. As to "Can you ask a question about "localhost" where other tags doesn't apply?", I would let others take over and answer this argument of yours. It should only be removed if it's a meta tag aka different people have different ideas about it. As far as I know, localhost doesn't involve confusion about different ideas.

When should I use the command-line tag?
@Braiam If you only want questions specifically about apt, you would favorite only apt. If you are a generalist in command-line, you would favorite only command-line. If you are a generalist in command-line but don't know a thing about apt, you would favorite command-line and put apt in ignored tags. (I just want to make sure you are also aware of ignored tags feature). But if one is a generalist in command-line and have favorited only command-line, one would expect questions about apt to also pop up; if we don't tag the question both as apt and command-line, it would a great dis-service.
