You should know that there are beginners events within the Ubuntu Community during User Days and what not, mainly on IRC, but elsewhere in the community... we could try and coincide an Ask Ubuntu Beginners event on the same "days" (just a thought)

@AnnaLear i have absolutely no time on my hands to go and retag the questions, but should date be destroyed by fire? its one of those tags which incorporates several other (better) flags in it, so...

Personally, i think 'windows' is a tag which should be burned and split to 'ms-windows' and 'application-windows'.

@OctavianDamiean there's several flags in the past-30-days flags queue I have which match "Low Quality" and "Declined - [see above reason]" as the response. Since that seems to be the general response to these flags, I am not seeking additional info about why it was declined as such, but rather the removal fo that type of flag outright.

Hence why I suggest the removal of it as a reason.

@JorgeCastro date could probably be included as well... but there's a thousand of these tags that need purging with fire, so...

just to point out, this already has two upvotes, so i think there's more people who agree with me on this :P

Doesn't that equate to the definition of a 'meta tag' in the sense that its purpose does not exist? in theory, having a tag that consists of questions which can work in 30 thousand other tags, is bad form, even if it does help catch offtopic questions.

Actually I've withdrew my candidacy. I received a few emails from a few people (names not disclosed) regarding my candidacy, and whether i'm "active enough". Therefore, I"m withdrawing my candidacy. BUT I SHALL RESUBMIT MY NOMINATION NEXT YEAR!

Well there's now 11 candidates, when you include my own nomination :P
