Is there a way to communicate with moderators?
There are also a plethora of cases where moderators do not need to respond to a flag and simply can act without contacting the flagger. Flags are not a mechanism to get in touch with moderators.

@AndrewK My answer to your question is "It depends on the specific case in question." Like lawyers and law where the answer to any legal question that isn't cut-and-dry is "It Depends", whether a moderator needs to respond to a flag with action, inaction, or a response depends on the specific case. MANY moderation actions take place without needing to engage whoever flagged the content. This is one of those cases, as are numerous others.

Note that many times when you flag a post moderators will act on things transparently and you will not be contacted directly for any reason. Nor will you see a response. It isn't unusual for a moderator to act on a flag and then not tell you that. Flags aren't designed as a "I need to speak to a moderator" solution/approach. They never have been.

Can we delete the [x11-unix] tag?
The tag will automatically get erased when there's no items on it. I don't think there's anything that we need to do except keep it unused

Why does my question get locked by on Askubuntu? No apparant reason other than a bully moderator
USUALLY Downvotes are because your question is incomplete or not capable of being answered or poor quality. That's not uncommon, that does NOT however equate to problems with the site/team. You actually have to post questions with enough details to help AND be responsive. DO NOT take Downvotes as personal attacks.

@NAYANC. the Community Managers - paid staff at StackExchange - are in charge of moderating moderators. That's what the "Contact" button at the bottom of pages is for. HOWEVER, if you delete your post because it gets downvotes, that triggers certain things in the system that MAY block you from posting questions or answers. Downvotes plus deletes tends to trigger that more than just downvotes + closed question. You should AVOID deleting your posts JUST because of downvotes.

By the way, if you don't post questions that can actually be answered (meaning that you just post junk or something that has no details, etc.) then NO site can help you, and if you get requests for more info you have to provide it or nobody can help you.

Is there a chatroom or a place where we can send our problems about 24.04?
@amar THAT I can't answer, but you should not take a single -1 as an offense. (And complaining about it doesn't help anything)

Why has my upvoted answer about xz been silently deleted?
@userunknown Flags point specifically at posts. I was unaware there was a conflict of interest at play. Note that i've already undeleted your post.
