Well, you are aware of where the reputation came from, and you are aware on how you lost it. The reasons for it are explained here Someone deleted my answer in a duplicate post, why?. … Lets put it this way, if the post is a duplicate an the contents of your answer are unique and useful, your answer would be merged with the main post and you would only loose the accepted answer reputation

Reputation for questions that have been edited multiple times

Community wiki lowers the necessary reputation for other users to edit it - making it easier for other users to help you improve it - but also removes the reputation gain/loss from votes after that point … So yes, you are getting up votes, they will count for badges, but the reputation you would get otherwise wont be present any more. …

Highest voted answer auto-accepted after length of time

Ask Ubuntu works over time already, answer a question in a good manner and you will keep having reputation incoming for a very long time. … Giving a better answer or taking care of your old answers and improve them will score you much more reputation than getting a green check next to it and ignoring it forever. …
