The "favourite questions" thing had, for a brief period, notifications on changes. It was shortly removed, and has shown no signs of coming back in the four years since. See Jeff Atwood's post.

Show a notification count in the title

At present, the Ask Ubuntu questions page changes the title to add a count of questions with new activity since the page was loaded. I think it'd be a lot more, if not just as much, useful to show a c …

Can we reduce the volume of off topic questions?

Why is there a cap on the maximum number of questions per day for non newbie users?

In the general case, this is to prevent a user from posting a bunch of questions about some topic without doing enough research on it. You can see this happen even with experienced users. I know of a …

Are the official Ubuntu Base images for ARM on topic in Ask Ubuntu?

This seems to be running Ubuntu in a container of some sort. The parts inside the container would be on-topic, just like, say, a Ubuntu Docker or LXC container would be, and to some extend the parts i …

Can we change the bounty rep requirement?

I don't really mind if a visiting user creates a bounty, gets their answer and leaves. IMHO that's one of the most useful benefits of the free rep (the other being the ability to comment1). If I'm n …
