Tags are keywords or labels that categorize a question with other, similar questions. Using the right tags makes it easier for users to find and answer a question. Use this tag for proposing actions upon tags (such as merging, synonymization, removal, etc.), or other tag-related questions.

Desktop tag must go!
I could kinda see this working specifically for questions on "desktop environments" - but obviously those are the minority.
I've removed the tag - if it re-appears, we can blacklist it.

This seems to be a side-effect of how the revision list calculates changes to tags, combined with how tags are sorted... … Now comes the twist: tags are automatically ordered by frequency of use, but this is done only when a new revision is saved. …
