Deprecate the ubuntu-desktop tag?
Based on the feedback here and in chat, I have deleted the ubuntu-desktop tag.
However this does leave 49 posts tagged untagged which need to be retagged something more meaningful.

Should we create a wish-list tag?
This would be far outside the scope of the site; I suggest you leave feature requests in the bug / work item trackers of the respective projects, instead. That would be more effective.

What does it mean to "Blacklist" a tag and when should I request it?
It should be rare, and only when there is overwhelming data supporting the idea that "yes, there is a problem, this tag keep coming up and we can't make it go away."

merge tags: tab and tabs
OK, good idea -- I merged them. We generally prefer the plural form of a tag unless there is some compelling reason to use the singular version.

Blacklist the linux tag?
Looking at the list of questions, I think some of the questions need to be cleaned up first. It is not clear to me what this tag is actually used for based on browsing 15-30 questions with it.
