-1 for points 1 and 3. +1 for points 2 and 4. We don't have time to explain graphical ways around just to get lspci , IMO that what this tool is supposed to do. Go get what we would ask the OP for. I don't see the need for private when I would ask the OP and he would post all the output of the command. Just my opinion.

Remember that the tool I have in mind should be for new users only and this just aids in getting the information in the 1000s of Qs we're receiving about issues in their first experience and avoid a certain part of the abandonments. Once basic stuff works, they can move on to learning. | |
