Oct 27, 2011 at 1:23 | comment | added | jpd | I wanted to avoid the specific question in-question, and keep this question on the topic of how to do things as a new (unprivileged) user, but as you have asked: I have just installed Eclipse, and noticed that it wasn't using the unity global menu, and couldn't find an obvious way to fix it. A quick search found someone else asking exactly the same question (69815). That has been closed as a duplicate of 16736. The suggested solution to the latter is a workaround to make Eclipse ignore the unity global menu, which is the opposite of what question 69815 is asking. | |
