Yes, we should delve into the question and look for hidden gems and yes, Elder Geek provided a viable solution in his answer. The no part was that the OP commented Sorry Guys, I have reinstalled making the problem more unreproducible. It didn't say anywhere that the OP wasn't using the default lightdm, so I allowed Elder Geek's observation about a bug with gdm to fall between the cracks. | |
