I have always had a fascination with computers. Whether it was what they were, their potential, or what they represent, computer had always fascinated me.
When it came time to choose a path for college, I was pushed in the computer science field for my "nack" with it. However, I quickly burned out with loss of enthusiasm and fear. I feared I would either be subject to tech support all my life or spend a great deal number of hours of my day editing code that was not my creation or towards my own creation.
Since that time, I have found a new interest in the field. I have found a renewed sense of purpose.
I have been using Linux since 1996. I have used Redhat, Slackware, Mandrake, Mandriva, Gentoo, Arch, SuSe, OpenSuSe, Ubuntu, and a couple of others. 10.10 is the mark of my return to Ubuntu.
