Might this change in the future?

@Stefano: the main reason for such a feature would be preventing new, relevant questions being pressed down by accepted questions which have small typos in it. I always try to edit as much as possible, but that's not always possible.

Being a Critic isn't bad. It's worse to leave an answer with upvotes if it's incorrect or even harmful. I also downvote non-constructive, subjective questions with titles like "Why does X not work in Ubuntu? Nothing works!" and a body full of rants.

By the way, the What is the best comment in source code you have ever encountered? is hilarious!

@Alvar, even if I say yes, I cannot confirm it. The oldest site, stackoverflow, has a question with 861k views, followed by 302k. search query

A tag can be made a synonym of another, in which case the tag will be converted automatically to the other one.

@CYREX: Okay then, so we should make screen a synonym to gnu-screen (with screen redirecting to screen) and monitor -> display ?
