I am retired after spending 37 years in the Information Technology industry.

After a research career at EMI I joined UK systems integrator Data Sciences. There I was design authority or project manager on a number of large projects for the UK public sector. Then in 16 years at IBM I held a number of leadership, programme management and business development roles. I was a Senior Managing Consultant specialising in complex system integration projects when I retired in April 2013.

I now spend my time playing with technology when I am not playing with my German Shepherd.
