Why can't I flag rants as rude?
«there is an automatic penalty for the author» O.O Ok I was aware regarding the spam part, but does it also apply for a single rude Q? Is it the same for comments?

@Seth, so I should've flagged every single comment by the OP rather than the question? It seems a bit overkill then, but ok.

@Seth then I'm a bit confused, since my flag history says I flagged it 6 hours ago.

Is the Ask Ubuntu community generally more friendly than Stack Overflow - If so, why?
@edwinksl unfortunately I have experienced bad "coffee" almost every time I went north of the Alps... Do not put too much trust on all Europeans on this issue. :) The solution for this very bad bug is buying an espresso machine.

@edwinksl please tell me that you are not one of those people who considers American mugs filled with dirty water to be coffee. :D OK joking apart, coffee is noble and nothing bad will happen to us.

Users strange behaviour
Converting comments to answers makes a lot of sense. Duplicating existing answers in new answers is a bit weird... IMHO. Isn't it?

«not their fault they fell out in the wrong country» ROTFL :D Well, at least I can still be European in the future. :)

Get rid of Windows answers?
@SimonHoare not really. A more proper analogy would be: you own a restaurant, a client who you've seen coming some times before comes in and tells you "your food is terrible, shame on you, now you must suggest me where to find a competitor of yours where to eat".

Clarification about these two flags and the ban trigger
Thank you for your answer. The first one is not a "wrong" answer, it does not even attempt to answer the question. The OP asked "why can't I start it?" (it being the Android Studio first, then changed to Android AVD Manager) and the answer should have been at least "because [reason]" not "hey as far as I remember you either install Android Studio or the SDK". Besides, AFAIK there is also a "very low quality" flag and the review process can be used to suggest deletion of something because "it does not attempt to answer the question".

Why my spam flag has been declined?
The fact that an attribution is not indicated in a post promoting external tools is usually an argument in favor of considering it spam. I am not discussing this specific case, but your answer seems to imply that the lack of a disclaimer means a post is "less spam".

If an answer cannot possibly give you what you asked for, please consider accepting nevertheless
You wrote what (quoting) should be done, not what the OP is free to do. Surely the OP is free to not accept, but this is not what should be done. Moreover, the OP might "feel" whatever they want. It doesn't change facts. (in this particular case, the fact that something is impossible if an accurate answer supported by facts is provided)

«If no answer solves it, then none should be accepted» Assuming that the problem/question can be solved. I.e. the exact opposite assumption than what @JacobVlijm was talking about.

Please ask people to translate, don't just close a question
I agree with your A and I upvoted it, however just a small detail: «chances are they also can't understand the answer»... who cares? :) The site is not only for the OP, but for other people who might reach the Q in the future. If a Q is translated, it will help other people.

@Dan non-native speaker here. :D I still believe the o sound is very different from the u sound, but I don't know about Arabic so I trust you on that one.
