I am a PhD student in Materials Science and Engineering in Gerbrand Ceder's research group at UCB. My research focuses on building machine learning models for predictive materials synthesis using natural language processing and text-mining from the scientific literature. I have been working with Python for ~5 years and having begun coding in earnest within the past 2.5 years. I am also interested in database management.

Spending my undergrad at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign studying Mechanical Engineering and Jazz Performance in drumset, I am still drumming and am starting to explore other instruments, including ukulele.
