Hi all,

As you can see by my age I have been in electronics from an early age. I started with computers in the 1980's with the Vic 20, then the 64 and slowly progressed from there. I am still working, and my duties cover the maintenance of anything that is electronic. TV's, monitors, computers in fact just about everything. In August 2012 I visited my son in Ireland who introduced me to Ubuntu. Since then I have fallen in love with it. I am by no means an expert on it but find the Ubuntu members very keen to help. So for all the questions I am going to ask, "many thanks" in advance.
