Please don't use underscores for formatting
SE Markdown supports both underscores and asterisks for marking italics and bold:

Insert link doesn't work as expected

Make blockquote formatting button not destroy the source layout!
The problem only happens with short lines (or rather, with lines containing short enough words), where the editor wraps a paragraph, leading it to fit as many words as it can into each line.
