Would be a OK(™) to use shortened URLs in comments? If i try posting a link (or two) in a comment, with a explanation about it, I often run out of characters as the links take up half the length of the comment. I then end up having to post a second comment to finish it or something So it would it be to use URL shortening in Comments (only long ones at that)? I already know that SE [*really*, **really** hates](https://meta.stackexchange.com/questions/113658/no-url-shorteners) short URLs. But could I just use for long comments - short URLs are in use even in questions and answers here - try [this query](http://data.stackexchange.com/askubuntu/query/48986/most-viewed-posts-using-bit-ly) (set the site to AskUbuntu). Either that, or could I do a feature request for links not to be counted in comment length? *(`[INCLUDE THIS](http://NOT THIS)`)* *N.B. Downvote as you like (not a good thing to say...) because I hate shortened URLs as well - I just was just wondering...*
