Why the hell would this website have a privileges format that forces people to linger on it for extended periods of time in order to even comment, upvote, or for Christ-sake, even post about the website itself in the correct forum?

This post belongs on Meta, but I can't even post there yet because the rules don't allow for it!

For a website where computer scientists flock to discuss one of the best open-source operating systems in the land, it's incredibly ironic that it operates so inefficiently.

Clearly this is opinionated and might even be considered obnoxious, seeing as I am posting while I am frustrated. Regardless, this is an obvious problem that ought to be solved, and it doesn't take a lot of effort or time to fix it.

Oh and apparently, I can't even post this for another twenty minutes because it's impossible for a human being to have more than one question in one sitting? Bitch, please.
