Ubuntu 16.04 LTS [is supported here until April of 2021](https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Releases) so you get far more than 2 years for your efforts. I agree with [@muru amusing comment.](https://meta.askubuntu.com/questions/17651/i-would-like-to-offer-an-apology-here?cb=1#comment36880_17651) We can certainly use all the help we can get providing that support.
