This may be reproduced as follows:

  1. Vote down on an answer and give a comment.

  2. Wait for post to be edited and answerer to give a comment.

  3. In a different tab, undo the downvote and give an upvote (for fixing issue with post, for instance).

  4. Click on the "Show one more comment" link in the comments section.

  5. Observe both vote buttons orange and new comments displayed.

  • @iSeth This, as you can see, was a while ago, and seems to not occur anymore. That is exactly why I VTC'd to close as too localized. It's best not to obsess about it too much, as the SE engine has more peculiarities you can see at MSO. – hexafraction Dec 31 '12 at 17:56
