askubuntu.com keeps logging me out quite often which is something that wasn't happening in the past. Is this normal? Have you changed anything?

UPDATE:
I am reposting this same issue today, Thursday July 25, 2024. The issue has not been resolved and askubuntu.com keeps logging me out worse than before.

Can this be fixed please?

  • I've seen other people complaining about this (on other SE sites) in chat in the past few days, looks like there's a bug somewhere.

  • Do you use any of the SE RSS/Atom feeds? There's definitely a bug somewhere in there that was causing my browser sessions to log-out. Once I stopped using RSS in Vivaldi, I stopped getting logged out.

  • You might face the caching issue also mentioned here: What is happening to AskUbuntu main site? I also have these issues for the last couple of days and after clearing the cache and cookies I can log back in, but yeah, something does not work quite right recently.

  • @BeastOfCaerbannog, I am clearing the cache every time I am about to shut down the system so that the next time the browser starts with a clean cache. I'll delete askubuntu cookies just in case and see what happens.
