    spam flagging probably by automated processes such as the Charcoal SmokeDetector system? No way for us to really tell.

  • I am not sure, but it could be bots like SmokeDetector which can flag posts as spam IIRC. flagging as spam is an auto-downvote as well. Since those are done through the API, they probably don't register a view count. All of this is my own speculation though.

  • A viewer can downvote, then flag as spam (or abusive) which gives an automatic downvote. That is two downvotes for one view.
