Are there any way to get started with StackOverFlow APIs. I wanted to build a small application tool for ubuntu which will post and retrieve feeds from StackExchange Network.

Any place to get started!

There is an entire Stack Exchange site dedicated to writing applications with the API. This site includes not only tools built around the Stack Exchange API but also libraries built in almost every language which should make development of an app quite easy.
