I have added an answer to this meta post - to suggest that a new question about ubuntu + cinnamon should be created(unless the user truly switches to ubuntu) so we have this concretely documented for Ubuntu. | |

This mixed signals are the reason why you wonder how people who problem has nothing to do with us end here There's no interpretation. If it was a windows question it would receive the same treatment. I'm seeing a fundamental flaw here and it's that we are trying to be helpful against what the propose for the site is answer questions about Ubuntu.
