How to make small, but important, edits?

I ask because I just recently tried to correct a post that had a command in it - but the command was wrong. TheThe poster had typed chwon instead of chown. OfOf course this means it would not work. However askubuntuHowever Ask Ubuntu would not let me make an edit smaller than 6 characters.

I feel it is important to be able to alter small, but critical, errors like this (without it, the new user may not get their problem solved).
