Aug 23, 2010 at 6:38 comment added 8128 That's what I was hoping to achieve by opening this question. If we can all vote it up to show SE it's important to us that would be useful. I think it should be possible to use Launchpad in the same was Google, Yahoo and Facebook are shown on the login screen - you click a 'launchpad' button and the cleverness somehow finds your openID url for you.
Aug 21, 2010 at 21:37 comment added Jorge Castro Is there a way to ask SE folks on how to help us out with this? I think we're having a chicken and the egg problem because Ubuntu contributors have lp id's and using launchpad.net/~username is not obvious.
