I'm a geek; have been for a while. I decided to finally give Ubuntu another shot, as I would like to familiarize myself with Linux so I can work on other people's Linux machines without destroying them. I've been fixing WinDon't computers since 1995 or so, before that I had a Tandy 1000 HX. My brother and I decided it would be a good idea to start our own computer repair company, since it's something we both enjoy doing.
I currently work full-time as a night auditor at a hotel (won't say which one, out of professional courtesy). In addition to performing general night audit duties, I also fix all the computers on-site. This is fine, except that the Internet terminal in the lobby is running Zorin (you know, the Linux distro built for easy transition from WinDon't). I've been having a rough time of it, so I installed Ubuntu alongside WinDon't 7 on my laptop to familiarize myself with the OS.
In my downtime, I enjoy playing video games (especially the Assassin's Creed series and Minecraft). I have two cats and a wonderful fiancee who has faithfully been by my side for the past seven years.
Want to know anything else about me? Just ask; as long as the information you request isn't creepy or too personal, I'll gladly divulge it.
